DIPTYCH GAME

project
According to Wikipedia, the Kuleshov effect is a film editing (montage) effect demonstrated by Russian film-maker Lev Kuleshov in the 1910s and 1920s. It is a mental phenomenon by which viewers derive more meaning from the interaction of two sequential shots than from a single shot in isolation.

This project is based on an interesting game. I tried putting together different paintings to see what impression they make together and what effect adding a title brings. Some pictures are related by theme, some by technique. Sometimes they have nothing in common. This is what makes the game so exciting.
